The Reception children had the opportunity to explore a fire engine on Tuesday 7th February as part of their “People who help us” topic. Year 3 children popped out to have a look too (as they missed their fire engine visit due to Covid when they were in Reception).

Kirsty and Charlotte from HCL catering company are running a six week cookery course to teach healthy cooking to class 6G. Desni from One Day Creative led a workshop about the Great Fire of London with Year 2. Using drama, the children explored different methods that could be used to put the fire out, did some mime and freeze frame and generally had a very enjoyable session.
Patrick, Lilly & Ellie from London Sinfonietta came to work with the children in Class 6Y on Thursday. The composition challenge that was set will be carried on this half term with Ms Phillips with all the children in Year 6. You can view some of their work by clicking here.
