Class 5Y assembly – 26th April

The children in class 5Y were inspired to tell us all about their Geography work, which took us on a tour of South America! We all enjoyed hearing some interesting facts and were entertained by the singing and dancing!

Year 6 trip to Hilltop

6Y Class Assembly – Thursday 7th March

Class 6Y’s assembly coincided with World Book Day, so it’s no surprise their assembly was all about books and how they can inspire and enrich our lives. It was wonderful to hear them sing and act so fabulously and it was evident that they love reading which was heart warming!

6G Class Assembly – 29th February

On Thursday, we were all entertained by Class 6G’s assembly. They took us to a book Oscars and wowed us with their wide range of reading and technological skills to show case their acting! Very well done to our authors, actors and cinematographers of the future!

Class 6Y make biscuits!

Class 6Y are continuing their food technology lesson by making biscuits. They had to measure the ingredients carefully and combine them to make the dough. The finished products looked delicious!

Food Technology with Class 6Y – 21st February

Class 6Y worked with Charley from HCL (Herts Catering Company) this week. They enjoyed developing their knife skills to cut vegetables and make a wrap pizza – yum! Apparently it tasted as good as it looked. They confidently explored different flavours and evaluated what they might leave out or add next time.
