Each pupil made a poppy for our tribute to the fallen. We remember in our prayers all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our peace and freedom.
The after school netball club is very well attended every Thursday evening, averaging 30 pupils. This Term we have played 3 matches so far and won 2 and lost 1. Lets keep giving our best girls!

The after school football club for Year 6 has an average of 36 pupils each week. A qualified coach takes the sessions for the boys and girls – please see photos below from one of their training sessions.

We held a tea dance for the people who attend the Memory Lane Café (Dementia Club). The choir and instrumentalists entertained everyone with music and songs from bygone eras. 3Y took us back nearly 2,000 years to the time of the Romans. It was a fact-filled fun assembly and all of the children were amazing. Well done 3Y and we hope all your parents enjoyed it!
2Y celebrated International Day with a wonderful assembly for us all! The children and families from 2Y are from 18 different countries! They shared dances, songs and facts about the countries they are from, with some wonderful traditional costumes too!
5G entertained us with a show all about the Romans and Anglo-Saxons. We hope the 5G parents enjoyed the eclectic mix of songs and dances!
2G told us all about the Four Nations that together make up Great Britain. This was based on their Topic work.
Class 4Y went to Palmers Green High School on 8th June to watch a French play.
1Y gave Michael Rosen a run for his money by performing many of his poems during their assembly
4G’s assembly was out of this world, with aliens visiting earth to find out more about the World Cup! Between the dancing, confident speaking and acting we were all amazed by their talents!

Thanks to a generous donation from the St Monica’s Mother & Toddler group, we have had a wood sculptor come to the school to sculpt beautiful owls from a tree recently cut down.
