Year 6 travelled to Hilltop (Norwich) for a week of OAA, this included tree climbing, zip lining, abseiling, rock climbing, orienteering, a beach walk and lots more activities. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children, challenging them to come out of their comfort zone to problem solve, work as a team and to take on leadership roles.
2G’s assembly was all about ‘Reaching for Your Dreams’. They wowed us with their singing & dancing and all their aspirational dreams!!
26 children from Years 4-6 represented the school at the Millfield Theatre Dance Festival on the 3rd and 4th April. A huge “Congratulations” to all of them for their brilliant performances and particular thanks to Karen Borley for her choreography talent.
The School Choir gave a marvellous performance at the above event. Mrs Phillips was so proud of them! Please see the lovely photos attached taken on the night. Well done to all of you.
2Y’s assembly was all about Mother’s Day. They WOWED their mums with their lovely singing and beautiful paintings. Well done!
1Y’s assembly was all about poetry. The children recited a poem called ‘The Sound Collector’ and read their super hero poems. They sang and performed really well and we are extremely proud of them!
On Wednesday, a large number of children from Year 5 performed on a variety of instruments for the entertainment of their parents and the whole school. It was wonderful to see how confidently they played.
On Thursday, 1G’s assembly was all about fictional Super Heroes, how we are Super Heroes and who our real life Super Heroes are. Their Super Hero Mission is to treat everyone how we would want to be treated – with love and kindness.
Over the last month, the boys have competed in 2 leagues matches. One against St.Andrews where they won 1-0 and the other against Grange Park , unfortunately they lost 3-1.
Recently, the girls played in the second round of the cup. We played Brimsdown School on a very cold afternoon but we won 2-1. We will keep you updated.
Year 4 took part in a cross country competition at Lee Valley Athletics Stadium on March 8th. Both the boys and girls ran extremely well. A huge congratulations to the boys who came second overall. Well done!

3G’s Valentine’s assembly took us back to Ancient Rome to discover the real reason we celebrate Valentine’s Day.
6Y performed their last ever assembly today. They showcased all they had learnt about MATHS!
A big “Well Done” to all the pupils who took part in ‘A Star is Born’! You were all winners, we are so proud of our talented pupils!
As it is was 6G’s last ever class assembly, they took control of all television stations in an attempt to show off how amazingly clever they are.
5G treated us to the first class assembly of 2019. The topic was ‘New Year Resolutions’. They wowed us with some fabulous talents and inspired us to make positive changes this year. Well done!
