Tuesday 1st October was the Feast of St Theresa and designated as our “well-being day”. Cla
16 children attended an event at Raglan School to explain to Public Health Enfield about the benefits of The Daily Mile. They also played football with some Tottenham coaches, met an Olympian athlete and tried many other sports.
26 children from Years 4-6 represented the school at the Millfield Theatre Dance Festival on the 3rd and 4th April. A huge “Congratulations” to all of them for their brilliant performances and particular thanks to Karen Borley for her choreography talent.
10 year 5 children will represent Enfield in a Mile Fun Run up The Mall, round St. James's Park and finish at Buckingham Palace on Sunday May 28th. Each child will be given a free T shirt, medal and goodie bag on the day. The event is hosted by Vitality Westminster Mile and organised by London Marathon.
70 St. Monica's children and their families were given the opportunity to attend the England Basketball Play-offs at the O2 arena on Sunday 14th May. The families really enjoyed their day and hopefully we have inspired some of our pupils to start playing basketball.
