We have been very lucky this year - Gavin, an experienced coach, has worked with years 4, 5 and 6 over the last few months. The children have loved learning a new sport that require different skills. Lots of our children then went on to play and were very successful in Gaelic football tournaments in Greenford, home to the GAA.
We were very fortunate to have 7 professional coaches from Middlesex Cricket Club visit our school and train the pupils in Years 3 - 5. The children learnt cricket skills and thoroughly enjoyed the sessions. Let's hope it will inspire them to play more cricket in the future!
Over the last 6 weeks, year 6 and year 4 have been very fortunate to have worked with a qualified cricket coach from Winchmore Hill Cricket Club. They have learned many new skills over the weeks. 15 children enjoyed it so much that they have now enrolled with Winchmore to play cricket at the weekend.
