M C Grammar – in da house!!
On the afternoon of 22nd November, on the Feast of St Cecilia (Patron Saint of Music) we had a special visit from the famous rapper M C Grammar! The children had learnt songs in advance of meeting him and thoroughly enjoyed singing along. The raps inspire the children to love the English language and everything about reading. It was an incredible afternoon and we LOVED having him. If you’d like to try a bit of rapping, a quick tip is to find groups of words that rhyme!
We’re looking forward to seeing him again with the choir at the O2 for Young Voices. M C Grammar took the time to sign some children’s books which we will be auctioning off over the coming weeks. He has also done a secret signature somewhere in the school. I wonder if you can find it!!
