On Wednesday 24th May, children from Years 2 and 3 performed on the piano, guitar, violin and tin whistle to a captive audience of children and parents. The youngest performer was only 6 years old. Over forty children from Reception, Years 1, 2 and 3 sang and danced their way across the stage for our annual talent show “A Star is Born!” The children performed a dress rehearsal for the school in the morning and then again in the evening for their families. Desni from One Day Creative led a workshop about the Great Fire of London with Year 2. Using drama, the children explored different methods that could be used to put the fire out, did some mime and freeze frame and generally had a very enjoyable session.

Year 2 thoroughly entertained everyone with their production of “I’m gonna shine” on Thursday 15th December. It was a long journey for Mary and Joseph, the shepherds and the wise men, but they all found the destination of meeting Jesus worthwhile.
The children and staff enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner on Wednesday 7th December. There was a lovely party atmosphere and Christmas music playing. Thanks to our catering team at HCL for the lovely food! Click here to see some photos.
Five children from Years 1 and 2 took part in a gymnastics festival on Monday 28th November, with nine other schools from Enfield. They performed their routines on floor and vault with confidence. They were very excited to attend this event and look forward to lots more in the future!
